Anyone offhand know the lowest idle speed you can use with a SERT?

I just want to know the lowest available I know the negatives of using too low of an idle.

Then, Either send him a PM or ask same question in there.. He tunes mostly with SERT and all SE tuners all the time.


I have read U don't want a TC to idle less than 950 rpms.. not enough oil pressure if U go lower.. so I know they will go lower.???.

Low Cold Idle and Low Warm Idle are set in the ECU itself.

The spec is 850 for Low Warm but the factory tool only allows them to go to 950.

At 950 you would hurt anything.

I had it set when I changed cams this past winter on my 88ci and it does sound better at stop lights.
