Default Matte Black, gloss black or Polished Aluminum

I am in a quandary...

I can't decide if I should get my rims powder coated a matte black.... or just polish up the aluminum to a nice shine.

Little help... given the color of the bike and the cast wheels... black or polish the aluminum.

Your input is appreciated.

I was kinda leaning that direction also... start blacking everything out.

I just picked up a '02 Hugger and I'm planning on PC'ing most of the bike gloss black. I may do the engine case mat black, but I'm just kicking around ideas at the moment.

i would say matte black to match with your air cleaner and other matte black parts.
if you are undecided why not try out the polished look first, that way you can see how it looks and then go for powder later if needed

I would go matte black and also do the front forks black.

Thanks for the input. I think I am leaning more towards the matte black... I hadn't considered the forks, but I just visualized it and saw a few images online... and MAN! That looks good.

I Would actually go in the opposite direction and Gloss them out in Black. There are so many bikes with the flat-black color. And while cool, it does not make things Pop. Gloss Black would accentuate the bike overall and even the existing flat parts that are on it.

They look pretty sick - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-David...-/231509726279
