Consigned my Sporty w/ a Dealer Today
I took my 1200S to a dealer to put it on consignment for sale today. It may have been my last ride on the Sporty. Of course, it ran and handled great. The Sportster Sport is a great machine for anyone who gets a chance to ride one, give it a shot. Unfortunately I need the cash to fix up an old Chevelle and selling the Sporty is my only way to do that. This is the bike that got me back into riding four years ago after a 30 year break.
Halfway hoping(and needing it to sell) part of me being just fine if it doesn't.
Can't cry to hard , still got the RKC, but I hoped you Sportster guys would understand that it just won't be the same.

RE: Consigned my Sporty w/ a Dealer Today
'67 Chevelle 300, a fairly unusual model. 350 w/2 speed powerglide. My sons first car so it has lots of sentimental value to him. We've had it about 13 years and this will be its turn for body work and get the engine running again. It all just takes time and $$$.
