Default wide glide conversion

hey I found a kit this is what it comes with..... my question is would I need a different rim and fender to make this all work?
A complete 41 MM wide glide conversion billet fron end for Sportsters and Customs.

Your rim should be fine and I think all you need to do is use spacers for your fender. Who makes them?

Did you check Hawg Halters or Accutronix? Those are very reputible names.

i am leaning towards some mods in the next year that would make this bike a keeper for life for me........ not that it isn't already. I was going to give it to my dad for helping with the upstairs of our house. but I may just look for an older sporty like a deal i found for myself things I am looking at:

Rocker box covers (all 6 pieces chrome)
Chrome Primary Cover
HogPro wheels
Wide glide conversion
all 4 signals replaced
headlight
steel braided brake lines
speedo/tach?
paint

if I do all this I am looking at having about 9K invested including what I paid for the bike

The idea kid is to keep it cheap....cuz you'll never get yer money back on upgrades (for the most part). So far, I've been pretty lucky...have less than a grand in what I have done so far.
