Front Turn Signal Relocating

Front Turn Signal Relocating
I'm having troubles relocating my turn signals to my forks. I know it shouldn’t be this hard... I took peoples advice on here and went with a set of brackets from J&P Cycles (http://www.jpcycles.com/productgroup...4-84B9155EBA9A). But my stock turn signals wont fit right with the brackets. Did anyone else have to use washers as spacers between the bracket and signals? Or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, if not using spacers or washers the slope of the signal housing will not properly clear the mount allowing it to tighten down. I have these mounts and initally just ground the mount down a little to fit but have since just used a thin lock washer as a spacer to keep the signal housing from turning once tightened and it fits fine.

I have the same turn signal mounts. They are made for signals designed for tripple tree mounts. I made them fit for mine just fine by grinding a stainless washer on one side to conform to the curve of the signal. You could grind the bracket or signal, but I have found the chrome peels off when grinding surrounding areas.
