I used an idea I found in the under 50 bucks section. On the left hand side the turn signal is held on by a small bracket. The hole in that bracket can be drilled out (5/16 I think) and used to mount the signal to the fork clamp. Buy another bracket from HD ($11) for the other side. They're tucked in nice and close and it's a cheap mod.
