Default Idle adjustment question

At what RPM should my 883 idle at? And do you adjust it to the RPM with the choke in or out?

Thanks in advance

Default RE: Idle adjustment question

Harley recommends 950 - 1,050 RPM, engine warm, choke in.

I've experimented with my 1200C quite a bit, and it prefers the 'hot idle' to be set between 1,000 - 1,025 RPM.
