Default Iron with touring rear air shocks

I've gotta say, this is the best upgrade money can buy for any sporty/nightster rider out there. There is a remarkable difference between the two and I haven't even put any air in them yet! This thing rides like a dream. Throw away your stock shocks or Progressives and pick a set of these up. You won't be disappointed!!! Thanks Soup for the help and info. And thank you Certainteed for the original? idea. Plus the mod only takes about a 1/2 hr.

Agreed..........I put a pair of road king lowering air shocks on 3 years ago and by far the best shocks i've used. I wasn't a fan of the progressive which I think were overpriced. Got the air shocks new under the Ultima brand name......and they where cheaper than just about any other type of shock out there. Easy install, smooth ride, and plenty of room for adjustment simply by adding or removing a few psi. I run mine about 8psi.

Default shocks?

If you dont mind what kind are those and what did you pay, where did you get them?

New rider here and am trying to put together some mods I want to do to my bike when I get it. The air ride seems way better. Good job!

You can pick them up on E-bay relatively cheap. I think I paid $75.00 for mine. Just go to ebay and search either road king or street glide shocks. I originally put the Road King shocks on Medusa. She sat a little high for me and I picked up a lowering kit. Then Joe ( JRK5892) sold me his set of Street glide shocks, which dropped her a inch. Real Happy with the ride.
