I ended up buying some rubber washers and installing them on the bracket bolts. It vibrates less now. I also used some WD-40 on the key and inserted and removed the key from the ignition cylinder multiple times. Everything seems to work a lot better. That's the last time i buy a kit off of Ebay.

What cowbell? lol i just tucked the unused wire under the tank.

But on that, I seen people get the low profile aftermarket ones and mount them on the front of the frame , between the forks and engine. If you have engine guards, I dont know if that causes issues with that spot.

1990 and a solid mount motor and still running strong-coil/key placement.
