I have a 2008 Nightster with forward controls, v&h short shots, v&h fuel pak. I was wanting to get either drag bars or mini apes I just can't decide. Which would ya'll recommend? Drag bars...what demensions? Or Mini apes what demensions?? Thanks

 

That's one that nobody can tell you, unfortunately. You have to decide, based on how you ride, how you like to sit, how much you ride, etc.

 

I just put some Drag Bars on my 1200c from Licks, LOVE THEM, should'a been my very first mod, bike totally feels different in a good way!

 

If you like the sport bike feel then go for the drag bars. I wanted something a little more upright (the reason I got rid of the rocket to begin with) so I went with the mini apes. Love the look. Comfortable riding position. I would think drags with forward controls would be a little akward.

 

baby apes dont get any taller then 14s i have 12 narrow glide 7 inch rise 31 wide dont member exact deminsions u wont be sorry

I have mini apes on mine and I love them. However, it is - again - your preference. I rode my friend's Sportster with drags and I didn't like my body position, so it's apes for me all the way.

 

Drags. Changes the whole look of the bike. I love mine on my Custom. Made the bike look that much cooler and meaner. My buddy has the same ones on his Nightster.
