These brackets screw on, but they're not gonna be near the fender.

Yeah I was looking at that bracket from crime scene choppers but their site looks outdated and the email on their site doesn't work

Do you think that because its not being dampened, the filament in the bulb will be shaken harshly causing bulbs to blow frequently?

You made me crack up with that mock up!.. the idea has potential... but I imagine all the constant vibration will take a toll on the headlight mount and light bulbs.... I imagine that a bracket that mounts the headlight hanging from the lower triple tree instead of the fender area is much less prone to vibration...

I think on the fork sliders or braces might beat the **** out of any headlight. They are kind of important, especially in the dark.

Maybe some new LED lights? There must be some new technology since 2010.
LED might also be more tolerable to road shock.

I have the HD Day Maker and it's crazy bright, but off to the side I can't imagine the tire will allow much light to pass through its thick dark rubber. ;-)
