Default Chopped the fender on my Iron (pics)

I finally decided to chop the fender on my Iron. It was a lot more simple than I expected. I cut the fender struts back the front mounting bolt and cut the front of the fender off until the mounting holes lined back up. I am waiting on a solo seat from Sick Saddles. I have to rewire my tailights (waiting on some parts to arrive). I am going to mount them with the fender mount bolts. I am not going to use the extensions, so they will mount directly against the fender strut. I also installed a set of 28.5" drag bars from Licks Cycles. Next on my list is to get the engine upgraded at Hildreth Performance.

What do you guys think so far?

Can anyone give me any suggestions for the headlight? Not sure what I want to do but it definitely needs something.

Hey man looks nice! I thought about doing something to my headlight too, but didn't want to drill out the tree in order to get a bottom mounted headlight. I have apes on mine so the lines from the tank to the head light is broken up in a way I could handle. With your bars it would look sweet to be able to pull the headlight forward a little bit.

Nice job man, that looks real good, I'd like to do the same with my Nightster. I agree about the headlight, I don't really like the top mount and cover but as Martads said you would need to drill out the tree. Something like the light on the 48 would be cool...
