Over the last few months I have become bored with my bike. I was gonna wait until it was all done, but I'm gonna do this "in progress" thing and update this thread over the next 2 months or so. Hopefully it won't take that long to finish. Or a year like Ergonight's hahahaha! j/k!
My plan is pretty basic. Last week I ordered fenders. Yes - PLURAL! I chopped the bobtail on Sunday to get an idea of where I wanted it. Still need to move it back a tad, I think. I have a really cool plan for the front fender that I haven't seen anyone do yet....
I scored a 48 seat for $80 on ebay as well. Plans call for some cosmetic motor and exhaust work, new paint on all tins, (it seriously is killing me to paint over the chameleon), throwing the clip-ons in the trash and a couple other do-dads. Stay tuned.... Will update as time and funds allow.
Seriously?!?
Man, I can't wait to see how this turns out!
My biggest "mod" as of late is to take the sissy bar off. That sounds so lame now.
Anyways, tuned in.....
I'm surprised at you changing the look that I thought you loved.
But on the other hand, as it seems we are always changing these bikes I am not surprised at all.
I have also noticed that it has been rather quiet from the vets around here. A whole lot of noobs though, and that's okay! We always need a fresh supply of new blood.
