looks awesome. is the tank painted or powder coated?
His tank is painted. Honestly my friend, you should do a search for threads by SF06 to get an idea of all the transformations this bike has been thru. It will blow you away.
Now, how about some hints on that front fender idea of yours, old buddy?
THIS GUY!!!!! Has crazyorange created yet another monster? kickup rear fenders rule but i think you need to chop that thing down....bigtime. we await your next move.....
I already cut the damn thing in half, bmx. I'm mounting it to the frame tab like you did. I can move it a little front or back but if I cut it much more I will compromise mounting points.
I will be following your progress intently. Can't wait to see your ideas. Especially looking forward to the paint scheme. If you're painting over the chameleon you must have something wicked in mind.
I have always loved your bike and kinda want to do one like it. I do have to say I'm happy to see a real seat on there-never liked the homemade seat. Well can't wait to see the final product.

Nothing dramatic for the paint. I just need the tins to match and don't feel like messing with matching the tank.
