Oilcap-dipstick is stuck, i try to use manual, lift and turn counterclockwise. It is stuck
Try with all my handpower. Afraid to use a metaltool, do not want to damage
Any tricks?
How much power can be used, all is plastic?

I am not sure what bike you have but you can try wrapping a shop towel around it to gain a better grip. They are not that difficult to remove. Good luck. And welcome to the forum.

I did put som maskin tape around the cap, got a better grip
First i did spray a little W40 inn, and is worked
Got the cap up, easy unlock after cleaning. But now the cap is 90 degree off, does not flush, but will look into this later
What year and model? I assume 883 04 from chasing your other threads.
Think your cap is similar to my 04 Softail. Mine got loose and I put a o-ring in the groove in the plug. Now it's pretty tight. Has yours been modified?
Add bike info to your signature line would be helpful.
PS.. for sure, Welcome to the HDFORUM. You been posting some good threads.

dont worry about a round screw-in dipsticks position, as long as it screws in well. The seal will compress and this may cause the top grip to line up in different places, at least on my bike👍

The 2004 and up bikes have that stupid pop up and twist off cap and every one I have ever seen is HARD to remove. You literally have to gorilla arm it. Just wrap something grippy around it such as a rubber strap, and turn it as hard as you can.
I believe there was a mod for this out there but I dont recall what it was, you may be able to google it and find out.
