Harley 48 chopped rear fender
Hey guys,
I chopped my 14 harley 48 fender the way most of you guys did it. Cut the section closer to the bike off then roll the fender forward and mount using the first side mount holes to the strut. My issue is, which hole on top of the fender do you mount the seat? Mine is a bit different since I already pre drilled a hole for a light i had on my fender and it just happened to line up with my seat, but I was wondering for the people that didn't drill a hole, which one do you use? looking at mine, the stock holes would never reach my seat bolt.
Also do you guys use the fender support bracket when you guys chop your fender? I've been having issues with bottoming out and having my fender rub on my tires. I'm running progressive 412 11" shocks on the stiffest setting and it seems to rub still.
