Default lollipops and decel pops

Will lollipops help reduce decel pops?? I have had my 1200 tuned and the tech says the only way i can get rid of the decel popping on my samson's is with torque cones or maybe lollipops is this true??

I personally think the decel pops sound cool. I'm not a mechanic but I thought the pops are just a characteristic of carbed engines.

It depends on what is causing the pop, lean or rich on decell or timing? I had a twin cam 88 that was carbed and eliminated the pop by backing out the idle mixture screw.

From what most exhaust manufacturers say you may have an exhaust leak somewhere. Or it just the nature of the beast.
