Ok did some extra searching and found that 2004 was in fact the first year for rubber mount motors. So question is for the bikes prior to 2004 how did you's deal with the rigid mount vibration on long hauls?

Any engine is going to vibrate any which way you look at it. I don't need steel wheels to pass over all the vibrations just to know we are moving forward
