Default 1 piece coil bracket DIY $6

Inspired by all the great DIY ideas here on the forum. I thought i would share a simple sturdy DYI coil relo bracket.

Started with a T strap from Home Depot and this is what i ended up with

Add some rattle can paint and DK Customs wires and this is how it turned out.

I just put the straight piece up and marked where the bend starts ( i think it was 4 inches) and went back and forth on the vice to get the angle just right. As for the holes, mine aren't perfect, i just marked about where the are and made the hole a little large so i could move it to center.

Well, I am a perfectionist when it comes to sheet metal, and I would spend like an hour to make sure it was perfect. I am also not going to be using a vise or metal thin enough to use a vise I have access to a cornise brake.

Seems simple enough, I was going to buy a relo bracket but might as well just do it this way. Good Stuff! What did you use to cut the sheet metal?

Looks good. I used the metal bar that the coil screws actually screwed in to. I used it as a clamp and screwed it back together over top of the shoke
