Default Helmet Cleaning

I've been trying to look up what i should use and certain things for cleaning a helmet since 1. i didn't get any warnings or instructions on cleaning my helmet from the place i bought it from, and 2. everytime i look on line, it's just places to buy helmets. I know not to use windex or stuff with ammonia, but what to use then? just water? Please help with any tips for a clean and long last, good looking helmet, thanks! and if it helps, the helmet is a Hawk ST-115-305

If the helmet has a glossy finish, Lemon Pledge. That includes the face shield as well.

H2SO4. It also works well as mouthwash and exfoliant.

Pledge on the outside and shield.

I wear either a bandana or a thinner knit hat as a helmet liner. I also spray the hat and helmet with Lysol after each use. Also, to help clean the inside of the helmet, put some hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle and spray the inside until lightly damp. Then let air dry. The peroxide will kill germs without destroying the material.

Rain for the outside, compressed air for the inside.

I'm suppose to clean my helmet? BS! More people might try to steal it then.
