Default Battery tender question

I rotate my battery tender to other batteries during the off season. With a Harley battery, Is it ok to only plug in my tender occasionally? Or is it better to have a dedicated tender for each battery?
Can't wait for the snow to go away...

I've plugged mine in every once in a while for a few hours at a time with no adverse effects.

Occasionally is better than not at all but if your scoot is in an unheated place and there is snow I would think that the temperatures are relatively low. Low temperatures and not fully charged batteries are not a good combination. If you can afford it, I would advise you to buy a 2nd tender.

I try to be consistent in the use of my battery tender; i.e., keep my motorcycle on it between rides. For that reason, I would buy another tender.

If it gets very cold and you forget to swap them around, you could have a casualty! I have a tender for each bike.

Fortunately it's not too cold in my garage, but I was hitting it every few weeks or so. I just wondered if it was a good idea or not to keep it connected 24/7. Guess I need a new tender. Thanks for the info.

I got mine at Wally Mart for under $20. I haven't used it yet, with the mild temps.

i have tenders on both bikes and both cages in my garage... they also make octopus tenders (one tender with several plugs)-
here is a 4 vehicle tender:

imo, if a vehicle is in the garage, there isnt a good reason not to plug it in!
