I rotate my battery tender to other batteries during the off season. With a Harley battery, Is it ok to only plug in my tender occasionally? Or is it better to have a dedicated tender for each battery?
Can't wait for the snow to go away...
Occasionally is better than not at all but if your scoot is in an unheated place and there is snow I would think that the temperatures are relatively low. Low temperatures and not fully charged batteries are not a good combination. If you can afford it, I would advise you to buy a 2nd tender.
the idea is to never let your voltage drop.....for $25 i would get one for your bike and always leave it plugged in. check ebay for seller xtremepartsworld out of tennessee....the best prices

You can get one for under $20, my Schumacher has yet to let me down.
Fortunately it's not too cold in my garage, but I was hitting it every few weeks or so. I just wondered if it was a good idea or not to keep it connected 24/7. Guess I need a new tender. Thanks for the info.
