I've noticed that my SGS drains down the battery more than my previous bikes in the cold weather. Even though I ride it most every weekend, I can tell that it is losing some charge so I want to buy a battery tender for it. I want something small, automatic, and easy to use. What tenders do you guys use? Any particularly good ones that you would recommend? Any I should stay away from? Thanks.
Battery Tender Jr. I have several. Easy to use. Pretty reasonable price. Sometimes you find a good sale can get them for $25. I think usually they run $35.

The Battery Tender Jr., easy to use. Just wire the pigtail as directed, leave it where you can tuck it in when not in use. Plug it in when your nor going to ride for a week or more.
Done deal.
I use the Tender Jr. on my 2014 SG, due to some illness my Bike sat for a month and a
half. I pulled the Bike out mid December it started right up, then I let it run for a good
15 minuets until the rocker boxes were hot to the touch working the throttle now and then
to blow the condensation out of the mufflers. My first battery tender Jr. lasted about 7
years before it gave out this is my second Jr. I also have two old cars in my garage with
two full size Battery Tenders on them, and they never fail to keep the batteries up on them.
