This is my 2nd front tire in a row that started to crack between the treads in less than 500 miles!! Both 21 inch front me 880. Date stamp on the first one was only 4 months old,returned to the motorcyle super store and was refunded the money. I bought another from an Indy shop 3 months ago, same ****...starting to crack !! Date on this one is feb 12. Has anyone had this problem?

I have the new me 888 on the rear ...so far no problems. What is everyone else running in the front? I was thinking Dunlop, or Avon.

Thanks for the link....sounds like the issue was supposed to be have been fixed 2 years ago! I'll have to double check to see if it was made in brazil or Germany. Sounds like the brazil plant was the culprit.

how do you find out where they were made?

 

It's stamped on the tire"...on the same side as the date code. It's kinda small so you have to look closely.
