Default Torque Specs for 1200 exhaust flanges?

Anyone know off the top of their head? I'm getting some popping so I think they need to be tightened up to stop the leak. I'm gonna use the ol cigar smoke method, but I want to make sure I know the specs before I go torquing the bolts down. Thanks boys!

I assume no liability. 120in lbs. Get some 5/16x24 serrated flange nuts and they will never back off again.

No. Go to local fastenal or fastener store. Not usually at ace but you never know.

This may nitpicking but I use 108 in. lbs since that is the center of the suggested range

you're not the only one that is that way... I will always go dead center of a "suggested range"

I've seen a lot of posts about the flange nuts being torqued to 90-120 in/lbs when doing some reading before changing my exhaust. I also found this pdf

http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...ts/-J03441.pdf

when researching it. This says to torque them to 60-80 in/lbs. Any idea where the difference comes from? And assuming these values are incorrect, and I need to re torque them to 100 in/lb, is it as easy as loosening the pope support bracket and then tightening them to the new torque or will I have to loosen the entire system first?
