Cool Torque Specs

Hey all...

I'm swapping out my stock exhaust for a set of Hooker Troublemakers and need the torque specs for the exhaust flanges bolts for a 2006 Sportster 883c.

It would be great if someone would kind enough to give me the specs.

Thanx...

Not sure if this helps any,and I apologize in advance.
It should get you in the ballpark though!
The manual for my 99 1200 says 6-8 ft-lbs at the cylinder head exhaust flanges.

The spec is 96-120 INCH lbs. Be sure to re-torque after several heat cycles.

Thanx guys... I would have never thought about re-torqueing them after running them...

I looked around for a good torque wrench and ended up with a Crafstman just because Sears was the only store in my area... I could have ordered a better one on line but needed it right away... But I did get it on sale :-)
Peace...

Would this equate to 8-10 ft/lbs if you're using a ft/lb torque wrench?

Math's already been done. Just wondering if it's ok to use ft/lbs when the manual calls for in/lbs.
