Default 98 Sportster wont start

Ive got a 98 sportster that i cant get started. Drove to the store last weekend, went inside for groceries, came out.....no start. Charging battery now just to be sure but i dont think thats the issue. I have also changed to starter relay switch under left side cover with a new unit. When i turn the key on, lights come on and horn works, blinkers work. Hit the start button and nothing, i even held the starter relay in my hand when hitting the start button to see if i could feel it click, i did not feel it. Cant find any other fuses.....help!!!"""""""

Wouldn't a kill switch just stop it from firing? Mine won't turn over or anything

No the kill switch kills the starter, you will not hear it click. Check the volts on your battery. Make sure your getting at least 11 volts. If so check to make sure you don't have a short or broken wire on the kill switch, then check to make sure you have a good ground connection on the neg wire.

Check the battery connections. Make sure there good and tight. I have a 1998 883....I would think your problem could be the start switch or the kill switch.
