Won't start need some help
Symptoms when I turn the ignition switch to the on position the lights will all work, turn signals will work if activated, fuel pump will run for a few seconds like normal. Hit the start button on the right grip and nothing, doesn't turn over, starter soliniod doesn't try to engage, nothing.
I have
Checked all fuses
Changed the small starting relay that is on the fuse block
Changed the larger relay under the seat behing the battery box ( parts counter sold me this relay when I asked for a starting relay, he says this is a starting relay however my service manual referrs to this relay as a lighting relay) it doesn't look to me like this relay is part of the starting control circuit.
Battery is fully charged
If I jumper from the battery to the starter solinoid the solinoid engages and the starter spins right over and the bike will start and run just fine.
Batteries have been replaced in both key fobs. Bike also will not turn over when using the turn signal proceedure to enter my security code manually.
The electrical diagragm looks like the starter control circuit goes thru the start switch, a couple harness connectors, the ECM, the TSSM the starter relay and the starter solinoid.
Where is the TSSM located on this bike. The service manual says behind the battery box but I don't see it. Can someone point me towards it, maybe a picture..
What should I be doing next? I'm going to take the ignition cover off and see if I can access the end of the harness to the handle bar switches to check continuity of the starter switch without taking the fairing off if I can. I took the switch loose from the handlebars but didn't see where i could check switch continuity, looked like its a sealed switch?
Thanks for any help

I don't know how accessible all the connections are, but I would try to short accross the two connections at the starter button to eliminate that.
Does your neutral light light up? If you normally start it in gear, it could be your clutch switch. You can eliminate that by putting it in neutral.
The ignition switch could be the cultrit too. I've had all the lights light up when the switch is turned on, but it wouldn't turn over. I normally turn it off and back on and it will start. I'm not suggesting that will work for you, but it does show that it could be the switch.
Good luck.
Neutral light lights up. Starter solinoid isn't trying to engage when trying to start it in neutral or in gear with clutch pulled in.
When I turn the ignition key on the lights all light up and the fuel pump runs. The bike will start if I jumper from the battery to the solinoid but not if I use the start switch.
I haven't been able to get to the connections at the start switch to do continuity checks acrost the switch or jumper across the switch. I guess I could push through the wiring insulation to jumper or do continuity checks but I'd preferr not to compromise the wiring insulation if I don't have to.
Battery connections at the Battery and the starter are clean and tight. I can jumper to the soliniod and it will turn right over and start right up. I am not getting power to the solinoid through the starter control circuit.
I did find a picture of the TSSM doing a TSSM location search. Also a potential location under the right side cover. i'll have to pull that cover and look when I get home. I know the ABS stuff is under that cover.

by jumping to the solenoid ( and the bike starting and running)
we know that the battery, starter, solenoid are all good and that the security system is NOT a problem....and the ground strap is good
so your problem is in the ign switch ( unlikely) or more likely the wiring to the switch(s) in the bars, to the starter relay etc.
all you can do is track it back until you find the fault.
I think you may have gotten some bad advice from the parts guy- go back and make sure that you have replaced the relays with exact same type--- the relay should have a diagram and terminal numbers impressed onto the plastic casing.
