Anyone put Valvoline VR1 in their motor. I use it on my bagger with good results so far so was wondering if I should do the same for the Sporty.

I use VR1 in my Ironhead, SAE60 weight.

Very different engine made out of exactly the same stuff. I use RevTech dino 25w60 and my 2007 1200 engine loves it. Harley's Syn 3 runs through it like water, (about 1/2 quart in 500 miles). it does not use any measurable amount of the RevTech. Roughly 10,000 miles using the RevTech. I use the RevTech Tranny lube too.

I've been using the VR1 in non-synthetic 20w50 for the past few years in my engine. It goes on sale a couple times a year so I stock up. Works for me.
