Has anyone gotten the HD Stage 1 Download then decided to get the FP3? just wondering what the results are/where. I know the FP3 will get for fuel to the heads since it wont have the EPA regulations the HD Download has. But what I really want to know would it be worth the price will i really see/feel the gains if any? Sadly I've contacted V&H seeking dyno sheets or any other information but the they couldn't seem to give me an answer incompetence I would assume.

 

Yes, you will notice the difference. I had the dealer download in my Rocker until just a couple months ago. The bike runs so much better and cooler with the FP3 map. Plus it has a lot of other cool features, like being able to view real time data on your phone. It's well worth the money IMO........

 

Since the download is a canned map, you might get lucky and find it will help. IMO it's a waste of money to take that chance. The bike will still be running as lean as it came from the factory.
Almost anything else is better, whether the FP3, Power Vision, TTS, Thundermax, etc. Getting a full-fledged tuner will give you noticeable gains. Dyno sheets can be tweaked by the guy who is running the dyno (who may or may not be competent), mods and equipment vary from bike to bike, so I can see why V&H doesn't want to hand them out. Even if they have them.

what year and model of bike do you have? The dealer flash was only created to be used with Harley parts and most do not use them. A tuner that has canned maps and it will get you closer than the dealer flash but still the best way to get it done is take it to a competent Dyno tuner and get it tuned with a power vision or TTS.

 

its a 2012 dyna super glide. sorry it took so long for ne to get back but it has a screaming eagle intake an V&H Slip Ons.
