Hey All,
Thinking about some of my favorite rides and meet-up and eat spots.
At the moment, focusing on places that are more centrally located, so we can get more people involved.
Solomon's Castle is on my mind right now. I love that place...

Can't ride this weekend. Doing a Christmas wrapping thing on saturday and doing our local toy run on sunday.

Bert, I would LOVE for it to be a nice weekend. I'll believe it when I see it.
We're definitely gonna put together a ride to Solomon's Castle, but I don't think it will be THIS weekend. I might be free Saturday, but the next few days will tell us.

It would be great if they had Burgers and Wings, but the food does not suck.
The sandwiches and salads are fresh and tasty. But I would probably stay away from the Lasagna, or anything else that takes more preparation.


Solomon's Castle is also very close to "Herb's Limestone Country Club".
They have live music and Bbq on the Last Saturday of every month.

So Saturday, December 26th (day after Xmas) might be a good candi-date for this ride.
These 2 places are in the area near Arcadia, so we would like to hear from the riders on the West coast, as well as riders from the Central Florida and East coast areas. Keep in mind that those of us from the South have a MUCH longer ride, but we're used to it. Heck, the only reason anybody ever rides SOUTH anymore is to go to the Keys... but hey, that is a GREAT reason.
Yes, there needs to be a ride to the Keys. Soon...

Looks like you are getting things going. Some great ideas. I might be able to do the day after xmas.

 

I can do the day after Xmas.

Oh and BTW my friends and I ride to Key West on Christmas Day. Leaving at 7am out of Pompano and Sawgrass Expwy, eat at the Hog's Breath and come straight home. It's an annual event. We get back to the Broward/PBC County Line around 6pm.

 

I have nothing to do but ride Saturday and Sunday. If you want to meet somewhere about half way Saturday let me know.



Herbs is one of my favorite rides.

Haven't been to the keys in long time but would like to go again.

Jaxson's is another central meeting place with good food, most of the time.

Another is Joanie's on 41 just west of 29.

Bert can you wait till the day after Christmas? This weekend is busy for me, Wreaths Across America is Saturday and 2 of my groups have Christmas parties this Sunday.

 

Most weekends are good for me but not sure about the day after Christmas. Will keep you posted.
