That's what you get for not using nitrogen in the tires.

Had the same leak on my 2010... Cleaned area, applied RTV sealant around the harness plug and hasn't leaked again going on 2 years.

Which RTV sealant would you recommend for this type of oil leak? I see Permatex makes several kinds with RTV in the description.

Which one would you use? 82180 Ultra Black Maximum Oil Resistance RTV Silicone Gasket Maker, Permatex 80050 Clear RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant, Permatex 81158 Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant? Other?

Actually if you go through the time, pull the outer , and rotor, you can pull it back through, clean it real good, then dope it up, and push it back thru the hole, this will last a long while, but if you have it down that far may as well replace the stator.

You can not buy a separate new cable/plug either. Unfortunately the only good solution is to replace the stator (on the inside of the primary case) with a new one which comes with a new rubber plug which goes through the primary case.

I would use the 82180. but any black silicone will work , just remember clean it real good, and when you think you have it clean enough clean it some more, and finally clean it with alcohol, or brake clean, or lacquer thinner, and let it dry completely (24) hours.
