I have the 2~2.5s , and I love them, the wife, and I did our first decent ride last weekend on them, she couldn't believe the difference.
I had ridden 500, or so miles on them solo, and 2 turns on the preload, and was set up for the wife , and her stuff.

Just had Ohlins 2-2s put on and Progressive Monotubes in the front. Got the Ohlins from Howard at Motorcycle metal. One thing, I noticed was that when I called Ohlins, they suggested different springs than what Howard suggested for their shocks. I went with what Ohlins suggested and I'm happy. But you can't beat Howard's prices.

I love mine, they have over 4" of excellent travel in a 13.25" shock.

Did you go harder or softer than what Howard had recommended? What was Ohlins' reasoning behind the change?

It seems strange that they would come up with different numbers for the same weight.
