Default Road Glide Fairing Bracket Question

I have a quick question....I am gathering parts to convert my 2013 SG to a RG and I need to know if there is any difference in the 2013 fairing brackets that attach to the crash bar to the ones used on the 2015?

Thanks....

I'm interested in the same conversion. I can't answer your question, but I suspect the answer is no. That said, follow this link and look up the parts numbers for yourself. If the part number is the same, or if it's not, you'll have your answer. http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.....asp?make=hdmc

basically the RG fairing mounts to the gooseneck & upper crash bars. The SG fairing mounts to the handlebars.

Not quite the answer your looking for.

But I can add this info for you. IF you plan on adding lower fairings with vents (or lower fairings w/ speakers) you will NEED 2010 - 2013 fairing brackets.

Since your SG is a 2013, "IF" I were in your boots, I still would be looking for a 2010 - 2013 Road Glide bracket.

I'm assuming your going with the old Road Glide Fairing and not the "Rushmore" fairing.

Good Luck with your project!

Yes they are different. 2010 to 2013 use the ones in the first pic. 2015 are in the second pic.

Yes, they are very different. If you need a set for the pre 2015 fairing let me know. I have a set sitting here that I would sell from my 2010

I removed my crash bar, so long ago, I totally forgot about those support brackets. I ended up tossing them in the trash...
