Default unusual noise on an 2014 FLHX and 2014 FLHR

My 2014 street glide and my friends 2014 road king are experiencing loud noises from our bikes when riding at slow speed on bumpy residential streets. When rolling over pavement swells with no throttle and then rolling back on the throttle we get these loud noises that sound like loose belts hitting the belt guard (very noisy). The belt tension is approx. 1/2 inch when the bikes are warmed up and riding over these streets.I have checked the primary, and it is reasonably tight.I am concerned and annoyed with this noise and would like to find a solution. Can anyone help with a solution?

Sounds like compensator slap. If so it's normal..... not pleasant but normal.

I check all setting from the workshop manual.Once you remove the primary cover you can check the chain tightness from the manual specifications to see if the automatic tensioner is working properly. These 14's are low mileage bikes and comp wear should also not be an issue (no particles at the primary drain plug and little scum on the inside of the cover)
