I put on the Bassani DNT slip ons on my '16. Very happy with the sound, deep and throaty but not crazy loud or snappy. Pipes don't over power the stereo, but definitely have a nice rumble. I have a Thunderheader on my Dyna and love it, but not what I was looking for on my RG.

Default exhaust

I used Screamin Eagle Street Cannons on my 15 Limited. 4' diameter, deeper sound than stock, not really loud unless you get on them hard. These are not anything like true duals or even V&H slip ons, just a little more bark , still hear the tunes when cruising. I am quite happy with them.

I went with the 4.5 from RC components and was very happy with the look and sound http://www.rccomponents.com/rcxhaust...s-45-inch.htm#

Lots of choices along with prices that range from $200 to $600.

How deep are your pockets? I know I was on a tight budget when I purchased my FLHTK.

You can get CVO take-offs for $200 shipped all day long on Ebay. They look and sound great.

I didn't want to spend $500 to $600 for slip-ons so I tried Full Boar Angle Cut Slip-On Mufflers with 2.5" Baffles. With shipping they were right at $200 I think.

The sound is exactly what I wanted and I was very impressed with the quality of the chrome.
