figured they were the 13" shocks
im short so I will probably have to go with a street glide seat and 12" shocks to get me where I am comfortable riding..
another stupid question been searching on here and the web and getting 2 schools of thought.. on the balance of factory warranty I have read that I would need to transfer it to my name but others have state it goes with the bike..
does anyone know for sure??

I'll concur with the other post
Keep the seat that's on it...it's air ride
Get a rear pillon cushion for those times you ride 2 up
How much to tall is the bike for you?
I'll also mention that that is one fine looking ride...great deal you got...I'd like to find one like that in that price range

Like others said, the shocks will be the full length ones, so 13" or more. It should also have a kickstand kill switch that will shut it off if you put the stand down with the engine running, and in gear I believe.
If you are on the shorter side (like me) the police seat will be a bit uncomfortable at stopping time, but just put your left foot down only and keep your right on the brake lever when stopped and it will be better. Or put a standard seat on and be rid of the problem. While the police seats sit you up high and are better for long distance, it can be a pain in the *** if you don't want to sit way up in the air. However if you want to do slow speed tight maneuvers, the police seat is the only way to go so you scoot way up over the tank.
The big problem with police bikes is the handlebar switches, I am not sure they are compatible with the aftermarket stereo set ups so you end up having to manually adjust volume and channels at the radio. This is difficult while moving as its distracting and bouncing around makes it imprecise.
The clutch spring was a heavier one on police bikes with the manual clutch. Now that they are hydraulic, its not difficult to use the clutch anymore.

i've had my 07 police electraglide since new. i really like the handlebar button setup, and wish my other bikes had the same setup.
it's my favorite bike out of three. would love to find and buy a police ROAD GLIDE, but i don't think they make them. would even order one new, if possible.
when i replaced the police tires, they were an absolute bitch to get off the rim. very stiff thick sidewalls.
but it came with a 103 motor way back in 07.
