Well, they don't coincide, but yes, I get 5000 miles out of a rear tire. Maybe 6000 out of a front. I have seven other motorcycles, and the most I've ever seen out of a rear tire is on my Ultra; maybe 7K on that one, but it included a 4500 mile trip. Just changed a rear tire on my BMW K75RT that only had about 2400 on it (that's the worst wear I've ever had from a tire). I think the Pennsylvania roads are a big contributor to my poor tire mileage, as compared with reports from others.
