Default Hawg Wired Speakers

Anybody got the Hawg Wired CX504-70 component speakers in a batwing fairing ? I'm wondering what you had to do to the fairing supports to get the speakers to fit. I know when I installed my Hogtune speakers I had to do a little "massaging" of the supports...it looks like the Hawg Wired speakers are bigger, magnet wise Anybody??

Yes,a little modifying is required. I had to cut a small portion of it off with a dremelto allow enough room for the magnet. The speakers sound great.

I just bent them down a bit in the middle to clear the magnets, fits great, love them too, and yes also running the amp, you have to if you have something other than 4ohm speakers stock.

I would love to get the system they have been announcing. Four channel amp (I think), plus two amplified mid ranges in the fairing lowers......(Ultra system).

Their prices send me running tho![sm=escape.gif]

I saw one of them recently - the lowers mounted speaker setup - It was really nice!

Check with Bart (SHooter64) for prices on their stuff!
