Home Made Jack, New Tool Kit & Rear Saddlebag Guards
What do all of these have in common? Well I used my new home made jack and my new Sears tool kit to install rear saddlebag guards on my Road Glide today. The home made jack worked great. Ibelieve I got the idea and specs from a post on one of these forums. It was a quick, fun little project to make it one evening and today was my first chance to try it out. That new Sears tool kit that is all the rage also worked great too. Even though the ratchet handle is small, it is sturdy and of very good quality. The rear saddlebag guards went on without a hitch. I included a picture of the home made jack in case someone is interested. I don't remember what the exact cost of the parts were, but I'm sure it was under $20. Thanks to everyone that contributes these great ideas on this forum!

What tool kit would that be? Does Sears make a nice little kit with every rachet, hex torx, possible?

Sounds like you had a good day with your new tools and your PROJECT...You might want to put a little more pressure on those bolts than that tool kit can provide...AUTO-ZONE has loner tools if you have one around, anyway GOOD LUCK and hope all works out for you!!!!
