Default Rolling Thunder Dyno(John the dyno guy)

Just wanted to get some feedback from any of the members here who have used " John " the dyno guy, from rolling thunder dyno. I e:mailed him bout a week ago and he was quick at getting back to me but I was a little shocked in what he had to say. I told him I had a 08 Street Glide that has on slip on mufflers; no fuel management system or high flow air cleaner. I basically asked him what he recommended for a ecm tuner and he said the "Power Commander" without a doubt. Shipped to my door for a whopping $600.00 !, with the map already installed. He said that the SERT is "o.k." but requires a lot of dyno time and an exp. tuner, so if my dealer does'nt know what he's doing, don't bother with it. Well, I don't know about you folks but $600.00 bucks seemed a little steep to me. How is it that Jamie would have shipped me the same thing (already mapped) for my application for $279.00 ? Does John the dyno guy know something every other Power Commander retailers don't ? If anyone can provide some input or experience with this guy, please post your comments. Very much appreciated...
Thanks....

Joe

I think that is way too high. I can't think that he knows something that Jamie doesn't, even though I have never spoken to the man. I have heard a lot of people here speak very highly of Jamie though.

Very well said, and thank you to all that replied. I think that this guy is out to rob every one he can. He makes the stealership look like The Salvation Army.
