About a month after I got my 08 Ultra I received its "birth certificate" in the mail from HD. It was in a nice "offical" document bound in a fake leather binder, it showed a lot of detail including the build date. Don't know if they do this with every bike made or just the anniversary limited editions??
I'm wondering if it was your dealer that it came from? I didn't even get a kick in the butt when I walked out the door with my new anniversary bike. Oh well, at least I got what I wanted for a price I was willing to pay.

I think there are a couple of different premiumns that the dealer can give with each bike they sell. My dealer also chose the birth certifigate in the leather type binder. Got both the wifes Sporty and my Ultra on top of the gun cabinet. They look nice.
