Default Low Rise seats for '09 FHXL

Which solo seat will lower the rider seat height the most? I am considering the Danny Gray Big Seat for solo riding and the HD Reach seat for 2 up. Or adding the pillion to the DG Big Seat for 2 up riding.

Any opinions or experience would be appreciated.

thanks,
Matt

Take a look at the Corbin Classic solo and passenger pillion if needed.

I have the Big Seat on my 09 FLHX and love it. I did not need to be lowered (I was fine with the stock seat height), but I do like the lower riding position as well as being a little closer. I have the large pillion, also, but have never installed it...let me know if you are interested in the pillion as I would be willing to part with it for a fair price.

Just DON'T buy a Saddlemen. Poor quality.

Story here:

Buy anything else.

Harry,
Do you know exactly how much the seat lowered you to the ground? Is the nose of the seat narrower than stock?
If I decide on the Big Seat I will definitely contact you about the pillion.

Thanks.

I also have the Danny Gray Big Seat and it lowers you about 1 1/4" est. or more. I can look over a 9" windshield w reg seat and w DG it's right at my eye line and I'm 5'8". I'm going to get the hump shaved since I only weigh 160 and it rides up my A$$. Otherwise it's a nice seat.

Hey Bucket 13, I'm sure you meant FHLX in your title, but you really had me going for a minute. I thought maybe the touring family had just enlisted a new Sportster model.. LoL Dyslexics unite! Ride safe now....
