Default Velva Ride Motor Mount??

I have a question for those using Velva Ride Motor Mounts.

For those using this mount, does anyone have over 5000 miles +/-, and how does it seem to be holding up? Is it still riding smooth or have any vibrations come back or changed at all?

Thanks,

Yachtman

Check out the Glide Pro motor mount as well if you are in the market for a new mount. This is a good unit.

Just my opinion; They suck! Put too much vibration into the ride. Sent mine back.

I also tried the glide-pro. It's better than Velva ride, better than the new stock harley mount but not as good as the old 79B which is currently the buell mount that I am now using.

I have been running that mount for about 90,000 miles. I do beleive that it does vibrate more then the stock rubber mount that came on my 03. The problem with the stock mount was they do not last long before they start to rip. To me the small amount of vibration was worth the trade off for long life. I have not noticed any increase in vibration over time.

Iagree with Streetrunner after market mounts are terrible to much vibration. Especially when down shifting. I bought three of the 79b mounts they use now on the buell. I bought three because I heard they were going to discontinue the mount.

Does anyone know where to buy the Buell? I'd rather have my super smooth ride and have to change them every 5K miles than have a harsh ride.
