Default streetglide handlebars

09 streetglide...I want to change the handlebars to mini-apes...any problems?

Not that complicated if you are okay with extending wires and changing cables. You can buy wiring extension kits or solder. I have changed bars on 2 EGs. Used Wild1 575s the first time. Thought they came back too far (I have long arms). Used Cyclesmith 10" dresser apes this time. Like them better. There are many threads on here explaining the process so I won't go into that.

Buy the manual. If you have the basic skills you can do it yourself. Like others said it takes about 4 to 5 hours with changing cables.

First, welcome to the forum.
The only problem is you haven't changed them yet. They are a lot more comfortable.

Thanks for the replies, sounds like a to do. I just feel like I have to lean forward too much, but maybe I shouldn't compare with the softail custom I traded for the SG....
