Road King Personal Accents Console Insert - Any experience with it?
Does anyone have any experience with the Personal Accents Console Insert for a Road King? I like the look better than stock, but worry about the long term durablity. Will it begin to delaminate over time?
Has anyone seen it in person? What are your thoughts?

I've seen the one I put on my bike in person.
I went with the gloss black just like the one in the photo posted.
I had to scrape the old one off that was on the bike when I got the bike, the bike is sinister blue, I think the one that was on the bike matched when it was new, but when I got it it was green, that is another story, I can't imagine the black one changing color, it was easy to put on, once the old one was off, I think they use a good glue on it, the tank emblems are just press on from the factory and they are still on tight.

Thank you Tmair - When you installed the insert, did you remove the dash or install it in place?
I think I like the look. I have never been a fan of the stock Harley dash, but so far I have not found an after market unit that I like better.
This unit looks sharp and should match the vivid black Road King nicely.

I had one on my 2000 RKC and loved it and I never had any issues at all with it. It's a simple install with the dash in place as it just has thin two-sided tape on the backing if I remember correctly. Mine too was colored matched to the bike which was Cobalt Blue and it never faded in the 3 years I kept the bike.
