Using your scoot for business travel...Took the KING to a vendor yesterday north of Milwaukee...nice 5 hour round trip ride yesterday taking the back roads to and from...anyone else able to use their scoot for business purposes? On another note I've read good things about the UA compression shorts so I went and bought a pair...Had then on yesterday...Don't really see the big deal about them...anyone??

Yeah, I use mine alot in my business, most of the time I don't need a car, I'm just based in my workshop. I use it to & from home to work, picking up mail, doing the banking, dropping of quotes etc, get alot of good comments on the bike. I claim the part of the rego, tyres, fuel etc. for tax purposes. Its also good to use when you're collecting outstanding accounts...99% of the time I ride back to work with payment.

 

I've used mine when I had to travel several times. Love getting the mileage reimbursement check for 10 times the cost of the gas.

 

Ride and use our scoots almost everyday..As we are kicking around ideas all the time to see what really works..Must say going to work has it,s perks..

 

I ride mine to run errands all the time. Love taking a scoot break during the day. Even when I only have a couple of miles to ride for work, I'll still ride ten or twenty around town to make my day much better.

 

I take mine to work when I can. I wear a light jacket to cover my uniform. At times I get some strange looks when they see the gun at my side. The days I get bumped to first shift it is a nice ride to work when there is not a lot of traffic and it is still a comfortable temp.

 

My employer will not pay for business travel on a motorcycle...

I had a nice 400+ round-trip ride last week for work. I loved it!

 

When I go to Phoenix I'll take the bike and I'll get paid time plus mileage. Turns out to be a nice little deal in the end.
