Default How did you mount your cell phone?

Specifically the Droid X? I like the idea of having a GPS/MP3/satellite all in one. Yes there might be better GPS/MP3/satellite units out there, however I don't have them, I have the Droid X.

I thought of getting a windshield bag, but then that defeats the GPS function, plus I have a short curved windshield so finding a windshield bag to fit has been hard to do. Usually the pocket isn't big enough to hold the phone and wires, etc..

Thanks

Ram mount keeps coming up, that might be the way to go.

I imagine you want it out in the open so you can change songs or look at the maps if you like. Well, I have a Road Glide and keep mine in my left glove box(I know, no help for you) but keep this in mind, if you wear gloves, your phone wont register your touch unless its fingerless gloves. I put Pandora radio on my Incredible and created the station I wanted to listen to, so there really aren't any songs I don't like. When It comes to the GPS, I hear the directions through the faring speakers, while it would be nice to look down real quick and see whats happening, I just go by the voice prompts and all works out for me.

Haven't bought one yet, but Techmount has been recommended to me by others.

Use a RAM mount for my Crackberry on right bar, squeeze type holder. As above other type I would consider it a Techmount unit.
Only use it for MP3 and just to see when a call comes in.

Ok I don't have a Droid but I have mounted two different PDAs for the same reason, what I did was get a bicycle reflector the kind that mounts on the bars, got one that was the same diamiter as the bars on my Harley, knocked the reflector part off of the front of the little plate that holds the reflector, if you look at the reflector you will see that is has the red, orange, or white reflector part mounted to a black back plate, the back plate is the part you want to keep, then I got a belt clip for my PDA, one that mounted with the PDA faceing out, took the blet clip part off and glued the part that holds the PDA to the plate that the reflector was on, mounted that on the bars of my Harley, works great, they make two different types of reflector mounts the ring that goes around the bar needs to be nylon, not plastic.
It takes longer to describe this then it does to make it.
