New Sundowner Seat Is Outstanding
Never rode a Harley seat I couldn't tolerate high milage days and all well enough...but came to the conclusion that I might as well put something on my FLHTCU that I really like.Been hearing about the Sundowner here and there, chatted with an old parts guy I trust and he told me the Sundowner's the only truely comfortable seat HD makes & easily the most popular seat they sell.My new Sundowner came in today.I rode it a few miles then did an 80 mile dinner run with my wife and it's definitely the most comfortable seat I've ever been on.
Feels more like I'm sitting IN my EGlide not ON it and the bucket-like lower back support feels great.I also like the smooth surface better than sitting on seams. My wife who liked the stock EGlide seat a lot is as happy with the Sundowner as I am.She said the passenger portion felt firmer than my stock EGlide seat at first but by the end of the ride it was already starting to break in.
Hell of a nice seat

I believe the Sundowner's not described as being lower than the stock EGlide seat but looking at my line of vision to the top of my windshield the seat seems almost a half inch lower and the sides are tapered in a bit different (seems like more) than stock which feels better.Distance to bars seems like it might be a half inch closer.
