Default 21 inch front and 18 inch wheels

Will my 2006 Street Glide handle better or not with a 21 inch front and 18 inch rear wheel? I know it will surlely look better.

Depends on what you mean by better handling.

-Your bike will be heavier to pick up off the side stand
-Your bike will tend to want to dive in to U-turns
-Your bike will ride stiffer

But!

-Once rolling, the bike steers just fine
-The bike will be higher off the ground, increasing lean angle, resulting in better handling (assuming a large part of your definition of handling is increased corner speed).

I'm really wanting a 21" for looks, but I'm wondering if the contact patch on the 120 tire will be large enough. I wore out the sides of my stock 18" long before the center (as I do on all my bikes) but the 18" tire tracks pretty well in turns. I'm afraid a 21" is going to want to push a little at higher corner speeds...

If it is a bar hopper, fine if you ride it, I did not like mine at high speeds the front was very lite and the wobble in turns or passing trucks was worse I took mine off and put the 18 back on just my 2 cents!

the ride will be a litlle rougher due to a smaller sidewall. you will also find that the tire will walk more on freeway groves and other road seems. i personally feel like the bike dives into corners better with the extra weight up front, and the thinner tire cuts the road like a sharp razor blade. jmho.

As said above it depends on what you are used to. If all you have ridden is touring bikes with stock wheels, it will feel strange at first. I came from a Softail Custom and it feels just fine to me. Either way, bike rides just fine.

Well of course you'll sacrifice handling and safety for cool factor. That's a no brainer!
