Default J&M shorty antennas

In a previous post I said I broke one of the antennas on my '11 FLHTK.

Dawg was kind enough to say a stock replacement is about $20.

Was thinking of buying a pair of J&M's HFCA-09 shorty antennas. They are both the same for the radio and CB.$10.99 each.

Has anyone tried these?

I started using them on my '04 Ultra, took them off when I sold it, put them on my '08 Ultra and have never had a problem.

I tried them on my 08, didn't work well for me. Went with the HD shorty's and they seemed to work better. Tranfered them to my new bike and they work well on it too......Just my 2 cents

I have them and like them well enough. Not quite as good of radio reception as with the longer stock whip. Not sure about the CB as I don't have a CB; just got the 2nd antenna for symmetry.

The reception I get with HD shorty antennas sucks. I'm going back to the stock whips.
